Really nice article and spot on. I've often referred to palliative care services, because when a person is deemed untreatable or unresponsive to psychiatric treatment there is no psychiatric palliative care. If you're viewed as a hopeless case then that's it, no support, they just wait for people to die and with fuck all support. It's the most terrible sight to see staff just glibly stating that person X will probably die... next.
